TPB CELEBRATES THE 2ND ANNIVERSARY OF PHILIPPINE MOTORCYCLE TOURISM

The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines marked the second anniversary of the Philippine Motorcycle Tourism (PMT) with a celebration at the World Trade Center on 9 December 2023. The event featured a vloggers’ conference and a lively riders’ night, bringing together motorcycle enthusiasts from across the country.

The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) has partnered with the Harley Owners Group (HOG) with their PH Ride With Purpose campaign bringing various motorcycle groups together at Mauban, Quezon on June 25 to raise funds for the tree planting and eco-park development project of the organization in Pangasinan.Launched in November 2021, TPB, with the Department of Tourism (DOT), launched the Philippine Motorcycle Tourism (PMT) program to stimulate domestic tourism and capitalize on the country’s scenic views enjoyed by several motorcycle groups.

250 Motorcycle Riders Kickstart Philippine Motorcycle Tourism – CALABARZON Loop

Manila, Philippines – About 250 motorcycle enthusiasts will gather at Rizal Park, Manila on Saturday, 20 November, to kick-off a two-day ride covering two loops of Region CALABARZON’s tourist spots and pit stops. The kick-off ride is one of the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines’ initiatives to bring back the confidence of the public to travel within the country while exercising “new normal” guidelines and safety protocols on the road in line with its Philippine Motorcycle Tourism (PMT) Program.

Picking up the pace amid the pandemic to regain the confidence of the public to travel again, the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines will kickstart the Philippine Motorcycle Tourism (PMT) Program this November with a series of activities.PMT aims to promote Philippine tourism destinations while helping local tour operators and local businesses to bounce back from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic by encouraging more motorcycle sports enthusiasts to engage in motor-sports tourism activities as a potential niche market.
