Capitalizing on the tourism potential, the Philippine Motorcycle Tourism Kick-Off and CALABARZON Ride is one of TPB’s initiatives to bring back the confidence of the public to travel within the country while exercising “new normal” guidelines and safety protocols on the road. It will be participated by 250 motorcycle sports enthusiasts from different motorcycle clubs/associations.

Its objective, among others, is to tap motor riders as domestic tourism ambassadors who will help promote the Philippines as a fun and diverse experience. This will also help instill a culture of tourism and pride of place among the riders and help advocate responsible and sustainable tourism.

TPB is allocating 250 slots composed of two (2) representatives of each vetted motorcycle club/association. Registration is free-of- charge and will be on a first-come-first-served basis. Interested participants were invited to register online from 10 November 2021 to 15 November 2021.

Registered participants will undergo RT-PCR Tests two (2) days before the event through TPB’s fully subsidized RT-PCR Swab Test program in partnership with the Philippine Children’s Medical Center. Only riders with negative results will be allowed to participate. Also, in support of the Government’s COVID-19 vaccination program, only fully vaccinated riders will be allowed to join the event.

Participants’ kits (vest, dri-fit shirt, sticker, and patches), Certificates of Participation, and freebies will be distributed during the event with a packed breakfast. Overnight stay based on twin sharing and dinner in Laiya, Batangas for the two (2) representatives will also be arranged. Participants will be encouraged to take photos/videos of tourist destinations of their choice along the route and constantly share them on social media networks.

• This program aims to generate media mileage through news articles, blogs, and posts in social media networks from both the invited media, influencers, bloggers, and participants using the following official event hashtags: #philippinemotorcycletourism, #tpbgovph, #itsmorefuninthephilippines.
