The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), in collaboration with the Department of Tourism and motorcycle rider clubs and associations in the Philippines, is organizing the Philippine Motorcycle Tourism (PMT) Hybrid Pre-Ride Webinar on 19 November 2021 and the PMT Program Launch and Kick-off of the CALABARZON Ride on 20-21 November 2021.

The PMT Hybrid Pre-Ride Webinar will provide the riders with relevant skills and knowledge in the motorcycle tourism industry and appreciate the beauty of the Philippines through motor riding activities following the safety protocols. This webinar is also intended for beginners to provide them with off-road and on-road driving techniques and skills.

TPB is allocating 100 slots for participants in which registration is free-of- charge and will be on a first-come-first-served basis. Interested participants were invited to register online from 10 November 2021 to 15 November 2021.

On-site registered participants will undergo RT-PCR Tests two (2) days before the event through TPB’s fully subsidized RT-PCR Swab Test program in partnership with the Philippine Children’s Medical Center.

Participants’ kits, Certificates of Participation, and freebies will be distributed during the event. Topics on Rights of Riders, A better Way of Riding Motorcycle While Touring in the Philippines and Best Practices in Motorcycle Tourism will be discussed on the said webinar/symposium by respected Speakers on the field of motorcycle tourism.

These Motorcycle Tourism Riders will encourage other people to see motorsports as a legitimate tourist activity that promotes responsible, safe, and sustainable tourism. It will push forward through alternative traveling methods, highlighting motorcycles as an effective way to help boost and jump-start domestic tourism and the local economy.
